We were very instrumental in the PTOC conversion developing the correct setup procedure’s on cappers to run this closure correctly. All over the US and Canada.

We were instrumental in developing a training program for mechanics and operators on how to setup the cappers and maintain the cappers correctly And how to trouble shoot the issues of: 
Cocked caps: what to look at for solutions High caps
Broken tamper bands
Low torque

With this training manual and having the training courses Mechanics were able to see certificate improvement in production and less down time due to not knowing where to Go find the issue quickly and solve problem correctly first time. Each mechanic would receive a manual to keep which has their capper and their settings for their line so to refresh their self frequently Working with members of the cooperate engineering team we were able to accomplish this manual and implement it all across the US

We were also asked to write a program that would audit the cappers in such away to prevent costly down time so that we could catch problem area of the capper before hand to avoid the costly down time and we could plan them out more efficiently So we developed a program that give you a measurement on all critical area that can be checked during audits and during normal maintenance checks Every component has a min. and a Max. and is color coded to alert you when ware is occurring In plants where we have implemented this program there has been a syndicate reduction of down time.

We were also very instrumental in the 1881 closure conversions finding the better solution for setup of capper and the cap pickup area along with the correct descent of the spindles on the cam and how much headrise or ( compression) there should be on cap to bottle at the lowest point on cam. Along with the bottle guides and how they should hold the bottle perfectly still at application point (where cap meets bottle) to ensure closure meets bottle correctly and to develop different alignment tool for the different capper to ensure alignment is properly set.

Worked with Pepsi to setup cappers to run the 1881 closure Also to rebuild and maintain cappers through the audit program that we developed for them Worked close with the OEM on the different change parts that would need to be modified to be able to run the capper more efficiently Also implemented a training program for maintenance for more knowledge of the capper and how to trouble shoot capper for issues to find them faster and how to setup capper correctly to avoid costly down time.
